Renovation of the Church

The St. Lazarus’ Church is nearly 100 years old, and was in great need of refurbishment. The current Parish priest, Rev.Fr.Prasad Ponnamperuma took the initiative of reconstructing (replastering, painting, etc.) the Church to how it is seen today. He also made arrangements to expand one side of the Church, so that it could accomodate more people, and to retain the structure in appearance of both sides.
